The lake was a walkable distance away from the club where we were staying. We used to walk upto the lake talking with the scientists after lunch. Some went to the graveyard next to the lake late at night; getting spooked, especially with Raamesh narrating ghost stories.This pic was taken on the first morning there. The lake wasnt as beautiful as the photo suggests. It was taken at a suitable angle to eliminate most of the crap!

Hey... didn't know there is a lake called " Venna Lake".

@venna: Hmm. interesting. But i think that ur name cannot have come from that lake.... probably the lake was named after some other more famous Venna instead.... In which case the mystery behind the original name still remains
